This privacy policy explains how your data is handled when you use Cat Tower Rescue (the "App"), developed by Deniz Durmaz ("we", "the developer"). By downloading and using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

In short: You don't need an account to play Cat Tower Rescue. We do not ask for information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email, or location. Your game progress is stored on your device. We only collect anonymous usage, crash, and performance data to improve the game.

1. Data We Collect

a) Automatically collected usage data (Firebase Analytics)

To understand how the game is used, we collect anonymized usage statistics, for example:

Device type, operating system version, and app version
Approximate (country/region-level) location, derived from your IP address — not precise location
In-game events (e.g. level starts/completions, stars earned, session length)

b) Crash and performance data (Firebase Crashlytics & Performance)

If the App crashes or runs slowly, we collect technical diagnostics to fix the problem: crash logs, stack traces, device state (e.g. free memory), and app start and screen-load times.

c) Data stored locally on your device

Your level progress, the stars you earn, and your sound/mute preference are kept in your device's local storage (shared_preferences). This data never leaves your device, is not sent to our servers, and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

d) Advertising

The App may, in the future, show optional rewarded ads in exchange for hints or extra lives. When ads are enabled, our ad providers (such as Google AdMob) may collect data like advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads. In that case, the provider's privacy policy applies.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

Information that directly identifies you, such as name, email, or phone number
Precise (GPS) location
Contacts, photos, messages, or other device content
Payment/card details — any purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your card information

To run the game, fix bugs, and improve performance
To understand which levels are too hard or too easy and balance the game
To measure overall (anonymous) usage trends

We do not sell or rent your data for marketing purposes.

Cat Tower Rescue is a family-friendly game suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or 16 in some countries). If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us at the address below so we can delete it.

6. Data Security and Retention

The anonymous/diagnostic data we collect is processed on Google's secure infrastructure and retained only for the period defined by our service providers. Progress data on your device stays only on your device.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or Turkey's KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data. You can clear all data on your device by uninstalling the App. For requests regarding analytics data, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. For significant changes we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
